Bachelors Program in Psychology

The Bachelor's Program in Psychology leads to a first professional qualification. It consists of comprehensive methodological training (research methods, statistics and data analysis), a training in the basic areas, which includes, among other things, perceptual and memory processes, learning and emotions and the biopsychological basis of human behavior and experience. Questions about personality and the development of individuals are also examined in different cultures and age groups as well as behavior and attitudes of groups. Other teaching areas in the Bachelor's Program are Diagnostic Methods and the applied subjects of Clinical Psychology, Child and Adolescent Psychology and Work and Organizational Psychology. Important contents that aid in the training of students include the empirical-experimental and the career-oriented internships as well as the bachelor thesis.
