Social Psychology is the scientific study of how the experience and behavior of individuals is influenced by the actual or imagined presence of others.

Our main areas of research and teaching at Osnabrück University include intergroup relations (with a focus on prejudice, sexism, social inequality and protest research), identity processes, and Intercultural Social Psychology.
